Dermacon International Conference features 36 sessions highlighting cutting-edge advances in traditional and dermatology

Jaipur 08 February 2025 – On the second day of Dermacon International Conference, Kushal Verma gave information about new agents in the treatment of contact dermatitis, a panel discussion was held on the management of psycho dermatological disorders which was moderated by Dr. Anupam Das. Information was also given about the new treatment coming in psoriasis. Dr. BM Ambadi gave a lecture on illuminating skin surgery by highlighting low cost and high impact innovation by Dr. Sanjeev Gupta. New technology is being used for retention of cell suspension in melanocyte-keratinocyte transplantation procedure using glued nylon suture or mesh. Balloon glove for smooth epidermal graft transfer in vitiligo is also an example of new technology. The novel low-cost, lightweight follicular unit extraction micromotor device is also a better use of a new technology.

Dr. U.S. Agarwal, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, said that 36 sessions were organized in the Dermacon International Conference, highlighting the cutting-edge advances in traditional and dermatology. In which the future outline of skin health was discussed. There was also a session on how we can use better technology in skin diseases and the increasing use of AI in treatment.

Professor Dr. Christos Jubulis (Germany) today gave a lecture on Hidradenitis Suppurativa, an important session of Pediatric Dermatology discussed about skin disorders. He discussed in detail about Pigmentation Disorders, problems related to hair and scalp, HIV and its effects on skin, Acne and Psychodermatology, Itching and side effects of medicines, Fungal Infections (Mycoses) and Skin Cancer, Skin and Internal Diseases.
