Jaipur, October 18th, 2023: Day 4 of the SFA Championships at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium teemed with unbridled energy. Athletics took the forefront with Boys U-16 showcasing their prowess in both 400m and 200m races. The younger ones, U-10 boys displayed remarkable spirit in the 100m sprint. The U-8 girl athletes displayed captivating speed in the 100m dash, while the U-16 tackled the 200m with finesse, and the youngest champs in the U-6 category raced across the 50m stretch, leaving spectators in awe.
The tennis arena was abuzz with excitement as Aagastya Raj Bharti from Mayoor Chopasni School showcased exceptional talent to secure the top spot in the U-14 boys singles.
Amidst these achievements, Cambridge Court World School secured gold in the U-18 girls category, while SS International School clinched bronze in the U-16 girls category, demonstrating remarkable skill, grit, and determination. In the U-14 girls category, Alpha International Academy emerged victorious with gold, City International School claimed silver, and SS International School secured bronze. Adding to the accolades, Alayana Sharma from Cambridge Court World School claimed victory in the U-14 girls tennis singles.
Football, a global favorite, witnessed thrilling matches as the U-18 boys teams went all out. Shanti Asiatic School emerged victorious with gold, SRN International secured silver, and Modern School, Mansarovar, clinched bronze, each move echoing with strategy and zeal. In the U-14 boys basketball category, Modern School Mansarovar claimed gold with their exceptional skills. Kabaddi also crowned its champions, with SS International School dominating the U-17 boys category to clinch gold, while Jaipur Xaviers Sr. Secondary School claimed gold in the U-14 boys category.
As the sun sets on Day 4, anticipation for the concluding days grew stronger. The resilience and passion exhibited by these athletes are a testament to the future of sports in the country. With another day beckoning, the championships are bound to deliver more thrilling moments and laudable performances.
